Woods Devil

The New Hampshire Wood Devil is a legendary 7-to-9-foot tall, lanky, gray-haired cryptid said to inhabit the remote, dense forests of Coös County. Described as a stealthy “Bigfoot cousin” with a horse-like face, it is known for hiding behind trees and emitting loud, echoing screams. Sightings date back to the 1930s, often involving lumberjacks and hunters.
