Oklahoma Octopus of Lake Tenkiller
The Oklahoma Octopus is a popular cryptid legend, described as a horse-sized, reddish-brown freshwater creature with long tentacles that allegedly inhabits Oklahoma lakes like Thunderbird, Tenkiller, and Oologah. Often blamed for unexplained drownings, it is likely a modern myth or internet legend, perhaps inspired by small aquarium pets released into the wild.
